Po Delta Park
Established in 1988, the Parco del Delta del Po is a natural area in the southern part of the mouth of river Po. Inside the park you’ll find fascinating natural environments such as Bosco della Mesola, the pine forests of Ravenna and Cervia, Punte Alberete, Valleys of Comacchio, but also the Salina di Cervia (a salt mine). The Park works for the protection of biodiversity: it hosts more than 300 species of nesting birds and a wide variety of plants. If you love Nature and hiking, don’t miss the chance to visit and admire this unique landscape. You can also book one of our guided tours: ask the staff of Spina Camping Village for information and enjoy the charm of these places surrounded by nature.
Cervia salt mines
827 hectares with more than 50 salt lagoons: the Saline of Cervia still use the procedure introduced in 1959 for the cavadura (the harvest of salt) and are at the same time an insight into local history and a beautiful natural area with very peculiar features. Unusual landscapes, the deep connection between man and water, different kinds of birds and very peculiar colours make the Saline of Cervia a place unique in Europe.
